Coral Hotels, the Canary Islands–based hotel group, has appointed Gabriel Wolgeschaffen as its new Director of Operations, strengthening the company’s operational management and reinforcing its strategy for growth and excellence across its portfolio.

With this appointment, Coral Hotels continues to enhance its senior leadership team, incorporating a highly experienced executive with a strong national and international background in the management of high-end resort and city hotels.

Gabriel Wolgeschaffen brings over 25 years of experience in comprehensive hotel management, including hotel openings, asset repositioning, branding strategies, and performance optimization. His professional approach is firmly grounded in balancing profitability, guest experience, and long-term value for ownership.

Over the past decade, he has held key leadership roles such as General Manager of Hotel Silken Atlántida and Vice President of Ashotel, in addition to leading Silken Hotels’ expansion in the Canary Islands, where he played an active role in the development and consolidation of new hospitality projects across the archipelago.

A graduate and active member of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Wolgeschaffen is a strong advocate of continuous professional development, innovation, and team empowerment as essential pillars for achieving excellence and differentiation in hotel management.

Currently, Coral Hotels operates 13 properties in Tenerife and Fuerteventura and is firmly committed to sustainability through its Green & Smart program.
