The international footvolley competition promoted by Coral Hotels and supported by CD Tenerife Women's Team presented the 7th Bocha Silva Tournament at Playa de los Cristianos.
It will be held at Playa de Los Cristianos from December 5 to 7 and will welcome some of the best specialists in this discipline in a vibrant and attractive format for the public.
Footvolley is a sport that combines the technique of soccer with the structure of volleyball. Played on sand in teams of two, participants must send the ball over the net without using their hands and with a maximum of three touches per play. Its spectacular nature and dynamism have established it as a growing discipline, with professional circuits and a growing international presence.
The tournament will feature the Tenerife brothers Yosy Silva, current European champion, and Facundo Silva, one of the best players in the history of Spain in this discipline, three-time Spanish champion and European champion in 2022. Both will represent Spain in this championship.
Other players joining the tournament are Daine Morris, UK champion and current player for C.D. Serfay Canarias, and Jacky Hofmann, Austrian champion.
As part of the club's collaboration with this initiative, blanquiazules players Patri Gavira, Bicho, and Clau Blanco were at Los Cristianos Beach on Wednesday, November 26, where they enjoyed a different kind of day. In addition to learning about this sport, they met with attendees and tried their hand at footvolley on the sand, demonstrating the team's commitment to projects that promote physical activity and sportsmanship.
