On the outskirts of El Cotillo stands Faro del Tostón, an emblematic structure offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged black rocks that surround it. Dating from the 19th century, the lighthouse houses a small museum that explains the area’s maritime history and the importance of lighthouses in navigation.
