Coral Hotels’ Commitment to Sustainability
Our commitment is based on creating long-term value for our guests, staff, suppliers, local communities and the natural environment. We work to minimise the environmental impact of our operations by implementing measures aimed at energy efficiency, the responsible use of natural resources and waste reduction. Optimising water and energy consumption, gradually introducing more efficient technologies and promoting circular economy practices are some of the actions we are driving to move towards a more responsible model of tourism.
Protecting the environment is one of the cornerstones of our work. We recognise the importance of preserving the ecosystems surrounding our hotels and of contributing to the conservation of biodiversity. We therefore encourage initiatives that promote respect for the environment, raising awareness amongst both our teams and our guests of the need to adopt sustainable habits during their stay.
Our commitment also encompasses a social and economic dimension. We believe that the success of a hotel business is closely linked to people’s well-being and the development of the communities in which we operate. We are committed to creating quality jobs, equal opportunities, diversity and the professional development of our teams. We promote safe, inclusive and respectful working environments, where every individual can fulfil their potential and contribute to the organisation’s growth.
We also maintain close ties with local communities, prioritising the use of local suppliers and supporting initiatives that generate economic and social value in the destinations. In this regard, over the past year we have invested 400,000 euros in purchasing local products for our establishments, reinforcing our commitment to the local economy and helping to strengthen the productive fabric of the destinations where we operate. This approach helps to reduce the carbon footprint associated with freight transport, supports small-scale producers and offers our guests a more authentic experience that is closely linked to the local identity.
Transparency and continuous improvement are core principles of our management approach. We regularly assess our environmental, social and governance performance to identify opportunities for improvement and set targets that enable us to make steady progress. This approach helps us to respond to current and future challenges in the tourism sector, aligning our activities with the expectations of our stakeholders and with leading international sustainability standards.
At Coral Hotels, we continue to work towards consolidating a model of responsible growth that combines excellence in service, respect for the environment and a commitment to people. We firmly believe that sustainability is not merely a corporate responsibility, but also an opportunity to make a positive impact and build a more balanced future for coming generations. Through every decision, investment and initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of tourism, creating shared value for our guests, our teams, our partners and society as a whole.
